Site Map

What is a site map?

Your website 'site map' is a list or diagram showing all the website pages you require, their function and where they link too.

Completing this form will give me a clear insight into the complexity of your site and allow me to start building the backbone to your site.

*Not all these items require their own pages, but can feature in footers / headers / or grouped on main pages.

But First....

Spend a bit of time, an hour if you can, looking at existing websites that you feel resonate with your brand or that you simply feel 'work well'. What is it about them that you like, what makes them easy to navigate, what content is in their header and their footer, what calls to action do they have and how often, how are their pages managed?

Then think of your site, what pages you need and what content can go on each.

Your home page should make it clear and quick to access other detailed parts of your site or to get in touch with you / make a booking / order goods etc...

Good to know...

Every website that gathers data, through a subscription or email sign up etc.. requires a Privacy Policy with a data protection statement. It is also sensible to have Terms & Conditions available for customers / clients to access. These can be in a footer but will protect you in the long run.
